Working principle and installation matters of spiral scale

  spiral scaleThe body is designed based on the principle of force weighing. It is a spiral reamer type continuous measurement and calibration feeding scale. It is composed of a weighing bridge, a screw conveyor, a pushing facility, a weight sensor and a speed measuring instrument.

The spiral scale is a professional automatic measurement and verification facility for mechanical and electrical equipment. The raw materials sent out by the hidden flow system are transmitted from the feeder to the feeding port of the scale body. When the raw materials are transported at a steady speed by the scale body, the speed signal of the spiral shaft is transmitted by the assembly. The speed measuring instrument at the shaft end (or the velocity signal obtained at the reducer motor) is transmitted to the main chassis. At the same time, the force of the material is applied to the weighing bridge, and the weight is caused by the trunnion support point on the bridge and the weight sensor. The force signal is also input to the main chassis, and the signal is amplified by the amplifier. The calculated cumulative weight and flow rate are displayed on the display. The measured material is sent to the next-level facility through the inlet of the scale body.

Assembly and actual operation

Assembly FAQ:

(a) The assembly accuracy of the spiral electronic scale is a prerequisite for good use.

(b) The premise of the spiral electronic scale must ensure sufficient reliability in operation.

(c) After the equipment is delivered, it must be stored properly to avoid exposure to the sun and rain, as well as damage or deformation caused by unreasonable placement.

(d) Before assembling the spiral scale, first check the conditions. The assembly should be as standard as possible, with sufficient bending stiffness and good durability. Check whether the specifications of the conditions are consistent with the installation equipment drawing.

(e) When transporting and lifting, keep the weighing body as level as possible to avoid collision with other objects. After lifting in place, basically fix the weighing bridge according to different fixing methods.

(f) Connect the assembly inlet and outlet connecting pipes, requiring the scale body inlet and outlet flanges to be connected with flexible oil pipes. (g) After checking that the basic assembly positioning specifications are confirmed to be normal, tighten the prerequisite bolts.

(h) Turn on the power and run dry, check the screw conveyor to ensure that the orientation is appropriate and the operation is stable. If any problem is found, adjust it immediately. The assembly is completed.

(i) After assembly, loosen the sensor maintenance nut between the weighing bridge and the spiral housing by 0.3-0.4mm and it can be put into operation.
